Community Fitness Meet-Ups
We believe there is strength in numbers! Moving with others is motivating and is a great way to make exercise more enjoyable.
We are introducing a series of free community meet-ups with walking followed by a short strength & flexibility session. These will be outside and led by active aging experts. All levels welcome!
We had a spring meet-up in St. Catharines and we will have a morning of fitness in North Bay. We look forward to adding additional locations throughout the year.
North Bay Meet-up - A Morning of Fitness
Join for a morning of fitness , including a walk and and a free outdoor fitness class.
Where: Lee Park, next to the Gateway Arch, North Bay, Ontario
Details of the Day:
๐ 9:00 โ 9:15 AM โ Meet & greet
๐ถโโ๏ธ 9:15 โ 10:00 AM โ Group workout, catered to all abilities (led by local North Bay fitness instructors!)
๐ช10-10:30 AM โ Hydrate, snacks, socialize!
No experience neededโjust comfortable shoes and a smile! Bring a friend or come solo; all are welcome.

1. What if it rains? ๐ง๏ธ
Bring your rain jacket! We plan to meet if there is a bit of rain. If exceptionally stormy, check this page or our Facebook page for updates on alternative arrangements.
2. I havenโt done strength training in a while - is that okay?ย ๐ช
Yes! You will have the option of only walking or participating in walking + strength & balance. Exercises can be modified for different levels.ย
3. What about different fitness levels?๐
Everyone is welcome. Exercises will have options to increase or decrease the level of difficulty.
4. Is there a cost? ๐ฐ
No - this is a free event.
5. If I donโt know anyone - should I come?ย โค๏ธ
Yes - this is a great opportunity to meet others in a welcoming setting. Chat with someone on your walk. Or if solo walking (with a community feel) is more your thing - join us and enjoy a solitude walk.
6. What should I wear? ๐
Wear what you feel most comfortable in for outdoor activity - jogging pants, loose fitting pants, tights, shorts etc.ย
You may want to layer in case you warm-up as we move (jacket with a long sleeve shirt).
7. What is H&H Unlimited? ๐
H&H Unlimited is a Canadian business who wants to help women 55+ to move more. Our mantra is "fitness for the ages". We are all on our own fitness journey and we are never past "a certain age" to make the next move".
